GD PEDIATRIC CARE

We are a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC), licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). Here at G&D PPEC, we have created a friendly and welcoming environment that provides alternative-site health care services for medically complex, technologically-dependent and behaviorally challenged children.

Excellent care and total dedication.

Meet Us

Our staff of board-certified pediatricians, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and therapists are highly trained to provide each child with the highest quality of life. Our services are extended for patients ages birth to 21 years of age and widely accessible due to our multilingual (English, Spanish, Creole) and culturally diverse staff.

WHAT IS A PPEC?
Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) centers allow eligible children to receive continual medical care in a non-residential setting. Upon approval, children are welcome to attend our PPEC up to a daily maximum of 12 hours. While in our care, children receive nursing services, personal care, developmental therapies, and caregiver training. Parents can go back to work with peace of mind, knowing their children will receive the care they need.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Patients have the opportunity to socialize with other children, reducing the isolation often resulting from home care services. We provide therapies, educational programming, nursing services, and close interactions with an onsite Pediatrician.

WHO PAYS FOR THE SERVICES?
PPEC Services are fully covered by Medicaid at no cost to parents, once recommended by the child's pediatrician through a prescription or letter of medical necessity. We also accept insurance and private pay. Our staff is happy to assist you with the enrollment process.
